Silver and Gold Earrings with Bicolor Sapphires - 970 Silver 23K Gold

Hand crafted 970 silver post and back earrings with a decorative layer of 23.7K gold and oval cut bicolor sapphire gemstones. Geometric design of two offset curved rectangles with beveled edges, the gold across the top at a diagonal, and the bezel set sapphires at the bottom. The silver is textured to give a matte finish in wonderful juxtaposition with the shiny gold. The bi-color sapphires are a lovely shade of blue with streaking of deeper blue. In excellent vintage condition with very minimal wear to the metal or the stones. The extra large heavy duty 925 silver backs are new.

♦ Dimensions: Earrings are .75 x .5 inches (18 x 13 mm). Sapphires are 6 x 4 mm. Total weight with backs is 6.8 grams.

♦ Markings: These are marked 925, however the silver tested on a precious metal analyzer as 96.9% silver with gold, tin and copper in the alloy. The layer of gold tested as 98.6% gold with the remaining 1.3% silver. Backs are marked 925.
