This antique Yuan oval platter from Wood & Sons is a rare find in terms of its age, shape, design, and backstamp. It is made in England and has 3 backstamps, 1 large imprinted in blue in the middle, and 2 small impressed stamp before firing. Please see pictures 2 and 6.
This collector's item weighs 14 oz and measures 10 inches x 7.25 inches. It is a rare deep dish and is approximately 2 inches deep and tapered. Due to its age, there are 2 small chips on the bottom of the lip. Please look at pictures 8 & 9 where I show bottom and top. Other than that, the design is still sharp, clean, and can definitely be used or displayed.
